About Steve's Plumbing Ventura

We're a licensed plumbing contractor with more than 15 years in business. We work only inside the City of Ventura, and a plumber answers the phone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Our story

Steve has been fixing plumbing in Ventura for more than 15 years. He's cleared root-choked clay sewer lines in Midtown, swapped out scale-packed water heaters in East Ventura, chased pinhole leaks under 1970s slab homes and repiped bungalows on the Westside.

Very few plumbing problems in this town are new to him.

He started Steve's Plumbing Ventura on a simple idea: when your plumbing fails, you should reach someone who knows the work and hear the price before anything starts. We still run every call that way.

And because we work only in Ventura, our customers are our neighbors. We'll probably see you at the hardware store, so we clean up before we leave.

Why we work only in Ventura

We chose to serve one city. So our plumbers are never across the county when you call. And they know how plumbing changes from one Ventura neighborhood to the next: the 1920s galvanized pipe of the Westside and Midtown, the beach-air corrosion in Pierpont, and the 37 grains-per-gallon groundwater that scales up water heaters in East Ventura. That local knowledge is on every page of this site, from our hard water guide to our neighborhood pages.

How we work

• A licensed plumber answers. Day or night, you talk to someone who knows plumbing.
• We find the cause first. Camera inspections and leak-detection tools before anyone opens a wall or digs a trench.
• You approve the price before work starts.
• We pull City of Ventura permits for water heaters, repipes, sewer work and gas lines.
• We leave a record. Photos, video and a written description of the work, useful for insurance and for selling your home later.
